African Movie Channel Unveils Season 5 Of AMC Movie Talk On AMC Series.

After four seasons, international Nollywood broadcaster, African Movie Channel announces the return of its original flagship talk show, AMC Movie Talk, which first debuted in 2016.

Season 5 of AMC Movie Talk returns with its ever-glamorous host, award-winning British-Nigerian actress, model, TV and radio host, Simi Drey, and several more A-list Nollywood celebrities.

AMC Movie Talk puts the audience in the know on all things Nollywood – Nollywood blockbusters, TV series, reality productions and so much more. The show features the movers and shakers – producers, actors, directors, and other key Nollywood and African entertainment industry stakeholders, providing insights into their personal and professional lives.

AMC Movie Talk continues to be where the biggest Nollywood stars talk to Africa and their fans the world over, about their works, personal lives, and current and upcoming projects; glamour, gossip, revelations, firsts, intrigue – you name it, it’s all on AMC Movie Talk!

Featuring a lineup of some of the most prominent faces in Nollywood, this fifth season takes things up a notch with new segments, from prank calls to interesting trivia question rounds and a fast rapid-fire segment, along with other fan-favorite games, all tailored to keep the audience glued. Simi’s persona and style encourage the guests to be themselves while engaging with her and the audience.

The first episode airs on Wednesday 7th June at 6pm GMT/7pm WAT/8pm CAT on African Movie Channel Series (AMC Series), with Netflix’s Far From Home alumni, Mike Afolarin as the season’s first guest. Other episodes feature the highest-grossing Nigerian actor of 2022, Tobi Bakre, international actress and TV host, Joselyn Dumas, co-director of the highest grossing Nigerian film of all time and actor, Tobi Makinde, British-Nigerian actress, presenter, producer and model, Eku Edewor, director and producer of the most travelled Nollywood TV series, Lekki Wives, Blessing Effiom Egbe.

A new episode of AMC Movie Talk will air at the same time every Wednesday till December, exclusively on AMC Series.
