Igbowood worldwide set to collaborate with INIFFAA as the hosting region for the film festival, holding on 25th to 27th November in Awka Capital City of Anambra State Nigeria.
Inside Nollywood International Film Festival and Award ( INIFFAA) is set to add a new vista to the movie and entertainment industry by hosting a multiple event which includes a Film Festival, Award Nite, Modelling Pageantry, Master Class and Launching Of The Inside Nollywood Magazine.
The Chief Executive Officer of INIFFAA, Mr. Obinna Muoma, described Inside Nollywood, which is the Corporate Body organizing the Festival as: “” an audio visual outfit staffed with skilled professionals, creative innovators, seasoned developers and outstanding content analysts for content development.
Mr. Muoma stated: “Inside Nollywood International Film Festival And Award (INIFFAA) is created to celebrate African Creative Minds in the Entertainment Industry. It also creates platforms where Filmmakers all over the world especially Africans meet and share ideas. The theme of the Festival is: ‘Reawakening Our Cultural Values Through Motion Pictures’”.
Continuing, Mr. Muoma, described the theme as drawing on the principles of creating original African Contents, saying that being African is a bond that goes beyond geography, birth or lineage, as people of African origin are spread across the globe and Africa is also a proud home to many non-Africans.
He pointed out that Inside Nollywood International Film Festival and Award deliberately commits to the ideals of empowerment and creative engagement. Through its investment in the development of local creative contents; it keeps faith with the next generation of potentials which abound throughout the continent.
INFFAA will be a 3 Day Fun Filled Empowering and Enlightening event that will be attended by personalities from all walks of life, including the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano, Top Government Functionaries, Traditional Rulers, Business Gurus, Actors and Actresses from Nigeria other countries, including Arab Nations and other Celebrities.”
The project PRO: Mr Okenwa Uzochukwu was happy to announce their collaboration with Igbowood film Industry to play host for Other Indigenous film industry coming to their legion. He said that Igbowood Film Practitioners Industry, as mother of all Igbo language Film Maker’s has promoted, preserved, united and regulated the industry.
Speaking with The founder/ President of Igbowood film industry, Chief Ezenwafor Odera P I (Dikenigbo ) an Igbo activist, film maker and Actor. “We believe that an indigenous person should not be ashamed of his/her identity despite the marginalisation and violation of indigenous rights that the communities still face to this very day. In these challenging times, we always need someone to rise up, to encourage, lead the way and offer solutions. That person is us. We need to show up for ourselves, be proud of our culture and speak to the world by Reawakening Our Cultural Values through Motion Pictures’”.

“Igbo wood Night Out which is an Annual Igbo Actors night will be held on the 26th during the festival because Inside Nollywood International film festival and Award’s has opened a better platform for the formation of Nollywood Entertainment foundation for all indigenous film industry within Nigeria. E.g.: Hausa film industry, Yoruba film industry and Igbo film industry under one body to show the world the true tale Nigeria/African stories.
