NOLLYWOOD ACTOR YUL EDOCHIE SHIFTS GEARS, EMBARKS ON SPIRITUAL JOURNEY AS FULL-TIME PREACHER

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has bid farewell to the glitz and glamour of the film industry, announcing his new vocation as a full-time preacher. The actor, known for his roles in numerous Nollywood productions, had teased fans about making a life-changing announcement, which he later revealed on Instagram.

Yul Edochie on Tuesday 23rd January, 2024 took to social media to declare that he has answered the divine call to become a preacher. He disclosed his decision to embark on this spiritual journey by launching a Christian program on YouTube, aptly named ‘True Salvation Ministry.’ In a post, he wrote, “It’s time to answer the call of God almighty. It’s time to do his work fully. To spread the true message of God. Tune in, and be transformed.”

Days before the ministry’s announcement, Yul used his YouTube channel to condemn prosperity preachers, emphasizing the importance of love as the most crucial teaching of God. Expressing concern about the prevalence of prosperity-focused messages in society, Yul aimed to redirect attention to the fundamental teachings of love.

Subsequently, Yul Edochie officially unveiled his church, True Salvation Ministry (TSM), through various social media platforms. The actor-turned-preacher shared the church’s poster, reinforcing his commitment to doing God’s work fully and spreading the authentic message of God. His announcement encouraged followers to tune in to the ministry, promising a transformative experience.
