The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has decided to make significant changes in the leadership structure in abia state chapter of AGN

Following the recent crisis in AGN abia state chapter which resulted to an illegal election without knowledge of the national EXCOS and the state.

In a statement signed by the national secretary, Mr abubakar yakubu, he said that the IG  will help to restore peace to the Nollywood community in abia state and that the reconciling committee headed by Stanley MBA has been dissolved.

The IG is made up of three members, lead by Doris ogala, chybyke agu , while moira MBA will be the secretary.

The national secretary Mr abubakar yakubu stated in the statement

“ The national body once again, reiterate it’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful, credible, and transparent election in the state chapter in line with election guidelines and the constitution of the guild”

“ He enjoined members of AGN in abia state to embrace peace and respect to constituted authority and desist from actions capable of brewing chaos and rancor in the state chapter”

According to him, the AGN president which is

Mr emeka  rollas is assures all AGN members of abia state chapter of their security and urge them to go about their lawful business peacefully.
