TOP 5 MOVIE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE WEEKEND

Its the weekend, and though it may not seem like it, a lot of things are going on inside Nollywood.

It’s another weekend,and you might want to do a little netflix and chill but no recommendations, oya here, I got you.

Our top picks for this weekend are:

1.) The crossroad

A 2020 movie telling the story of the Nigerian police we might have once had. Starring RMD, it simply depicts the efficiency of one officer and it’s ripple effect while giving us a gradual representatiom of how the switch flipped.

2. Afamefuna

If you looking to relish the calm and organized Igbo setting,the representation and nwa boi setting that has built hundred of Igbo men then this is for you. A blend of history, culture anf heritage starring Kanayo O. Kanayo, Stan nze, Alexx Ekubo amongst others.

3. The one who got away

Starring Chioma Akpotha tells the story of a mother trying to step into the GenZ fested dating pool and falls right into a trap. Was she saved?

4. No Way Through

In the tough  streets of Lagos,a mother – Funke Akindele, in a bid to carter for her kids comfortsbly, she decided to also push drugs in the cartel. Somehow she’s caught and now they want her to be their informant, indecisive , she thinks of whose consequences will be more servere

5. Double Dekoi

Another crime thriller movie that is worth every watch. This time, a woman takes charge  and penetrate to  prove her brother’s innocence and prove herself.

6. WURA S2

A TV show that’s been breaking the screen since it’s release on the 5th of December. WURA S2 is a continuation of the first part and as promised to be a blast.
