IP BUSINESS CAPITAL SET TO SUPPORT 500 AFRICAN CREATIVES WITH KNOWLEDGE ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

IP Business Capital is a business and training advisory firm, providing cutting edge IP Solutions to Africa Creative Entrepreneurs.
A critical part of the firm’s mission is to empower African creatives with the required capacity (technical and soft) to tell authentic African Stories. One of our core value is to re-shape the African narrative through strategic stories that amplify our values, heritage, culture and pride as Africans.
IP Business Capital has trained over 500 creative entrepreneurs in Nigeria, Gambia, Kenya, South Africa and Rwanda on IP protection, Intellectual property management techniques, market entry methods for business growth, brand & product licensing, trademark strategies, sponsorships and licensing partnerships. Through this Creative Licensing program, participants have acquired relevant skills and knowledge to develop unique market growth strategies, navigate intellectual property infringement issues, build IP Portfolios, and attract private investors to help them accelerate their solutions to the market.
Through the Africa Creative Hub Accelerator, with an alumni of 200 participants from, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, the firm has successfully up-skilled African Story-tellers in screen-writing, story-telling, business management and negotiation skills. These educational initiatives and trainings has helped unemployed youths across Africa to nurture their creative talents and to develop core skills in film making and screen-writing.
