THE IGBOWOOD ART EXHIBITION, FILM FESTIVAL AND AWARDS (LAFFA 2023)

Igbowood production presents first of its kind event to celebrate indigenous arts, culture and tradition tagged Igbowood Art Exhibition, Film festival and Awards 2023. This is scheduled to hold from the 17^th of November to 19^th of November making it a three day event, the event will feature art exhibition where various indigenous arts will be displayed and art lover would get both the opportunity to watch this art works and to also purchase their favorite arts at the spot.

Art performances in various categories like acting, dancing, singing, ima mbem, igbu oja and even comedy will be performed by students of various South Eastern Universities. Performances from individuals and various groups will also feature at the event.

The event will also feature a film festival to celebrate our indigenous content and content creators who have promoted the Igbo culture and tradition through content making.  There would also be a beauty pageant competition to crown the next queen of Igbowood which has been in existence since 2015.

The three day event will capped bu the issuing of various awards to hardworking Igbo sons and daughters who have thrived with excellence in their various fields

          This event is aimed at further deepening the already established footprint Igbowood production has made in reawakening the consciousness of the Igbo man to its culture and tradition since 2013. Designed to highlight our beautiful art, culture and tradition as a people; this event seeks to remind the general public of some of our extinguishing splendor of tradition.  

          To participate in the film festival, participants are required to submit their indigenous films either through our online portal using the film freeway website or make physical submission at our office Afri Computer Academy and Film School located at 113 Arthur Eze Avenue by Eastern Mass Transit Park Unizik Junction Awka, Anambra State. Our office are opened fro  8:00am to 4:00pm weekdays. Physical Submission of the films are to be made using an external drive which would not be returned.

          Artists who would want their artwork on display in the art exhibition category of the event where thier arts could be purchased by art lovers should contact Beauty on 09019117157 to have their art works screened to determine if they are eligible for the exhibition.

          This event promises to be not just exciting but packed with activities promoting our culture hence it is a perfect fit for the government and private individuals to identify with the uniqueness in the Igbo culture and tradition by supporting Igbowood production to facilitate this event.
