When it comes to spending time with family, it’s easy to do when there are many activities making for no dull moments because we are all having and seeing fun.
Every December is for hangout, Bonding and catching up and to make that easier, we compiled a list of eleven{11} movies coming to our screens this December.
On December 1st
1. Afamefuna: No other way to set the pace and begin the season with a movie depicting the Igbo apprentice system. The “nwa boi” concept unique to the Igbo apprentice system and how this affects the economy because as it allows the easy transferring of knowledge and the secrets to run a successful business. Starring legends like Kanayo O. Kanayo, Alexx Ekubo, Jide Kene Achusi, Segun Arinze amongst others.
2. Double Dekoi: How far can you go for your loved ones? A determined young girl shows us her lengths by infiltrating a criminal organisation with an ultimate aim to salvage her brother’s name.
With a mismatched team to help navigate the dangerous world of drugs and human trafficking, did she succeed? Starring notable stars like Sola Sobawale, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Baaj Adebule. Double Dekoi will be live in Cinemas.
On December 8
3. Drink: A film written by Remi Ibinola asks, how patient can you stay with a man who drinks and can’t explain his drinking episodes? Drink, Starring Alexx Ekubo, Nancy Isime, Uche Montena will be available in Cinemas.
4. Blood Vessel: To be live on Netflix. Blood vessel is a mystery crime thriller that tells the story of 6 young people entering bigger trouble while trying to escape the oil pollution in their community. Featuring Adaobi Dibor, Jide Kene Achufusi, and David Ezekiel, it promises entertainment.
On December 15th
5. Breath of Life: Telling the story of a former clergyman who lost all to fate, while lost and uncertain, he finds his way back through his househelp. Starring Wale Ojo, Chimezie Imo, Sam Dede, Genova Umeh, Breathe of life will be available on prime video.
6. A tribe called Judah: Funke Akindele Promises another blockbuster on our screens this season as she portrays a story of 5 brothers who will go any length to save their mother. they decides to rob a mall only to get there, and meet armed robbers. Will they survive or save their mother? We can only know in Cinemas on the 15th. Starring Timini Egbuson, Tobi Makinde, Jidekene Achufusi, Nse Ikpe Etim, Genoveva Umeh, and Yvonne Jegede.
7. ADA Omo Daddy: Welcoming Mercy Aigbe back to producing this banger. Starring Sola Sobowale, Omowunmi Dada, etc screams fun and entertainment and will be available in Cinemas.
On December, 22nd
8. Malaika: Tells the story of a barren woman who in an attempt to solve this situation, stumbles into a spiritual journey where her behavior played. Starring Toyin Abraham, Emeka Ike, Uzor Arikewez. It promises fun and will be available in Cinemas.
9. Ogeere: starring Kola Oyewo, Jide Kosoko,Rotimi Salami, and directed by Damola Olatunji, the movie promises fun, entertainment and value and will be available in Cinemas.
TV Shows
10. WURA, Season 2
The much awaited telenovela’s second season will return on Showmax weekly, with 4 episodes. The question in our mind as we approach the second season is whether Wura will keep winning or will she finally run out of luck? Will justice catch up with her, or will her reign continue? WURA will be back on our screens on December 4th on Showmax.
11. Agu
This legal drama is portrayed in 6 series telling the story of family Rivalries, law and the supernatural. Revolving around the murder case of Jonathan, answers are not yet found. Starring Kanayo O. Kanayo, Ruby Okezie, Ireti Doyle, Linda Ejiofor, it will be released weekly on Showmax from the 14th of December.
