INTERACTIVE SESSION: THE NATIONAL FILM AND VIDEO CENSORS BOARD(NFVCB) WITH STAKEHOLDERS

The Executive Director, NFVCB, Alhaji Adedayo Thomas who hosted the event at the Board’s South West Zonal Office, Lagos, used the medium to inform Stakeholders on current developments in the Board and the challenges faced by the agency. He urged the executives of the various guilds and associations to encourage their members to work together for the benefit of the film industry.

The interactive session had in attendance the presidents and secretaries from relevant associations in the film industry such as Association of Movie
Content Owners and Distributors (AMCOD), Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Cinema Exhibitirs Association of Nigeria (CEAN), Creative Designers Guild of Nigeria (CGDN) , Association of Movie Producers (AMP) amongst others.

The parley also afforded the stakeholders to present their challenges for which the Board promised to profer solutions.

Notable among the guild/association heads present are Mr. Ope Ajayi, President, CEAN, Adewole Elesoh, ANTP, Emeka Adua, FVPMAN, Joy Odiete, FDAN,
Dr. Victor Okhai, DGN, Best Ikenna, AMPMAN, Saidi Balogun, TGMAN, Tunji Ojetola, AMCOD, Amusa Bolaji, TAMPAN and Muoma Obinna of FCMA.
